Connect Arkansas Free Adult Digital Literacy Classes at the Library

Connect Arkansas returns to the Faulkner County Library with free Adult Digital Literacy Classes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2.

Each class will last one hour, and each student is provided with a computer.

Connect Arkansas received federal stimulus grants to increase Internet awareness, education and use in Arkansas. As part of that grant, Connect Arkansas launched the Adult Digital Literacy Program.

Alligator hunt permit application period through June 30

Grandma Camp: Summer Fun Week

Arkansas summers can be steamy. The heat and humidity can curtail outdoor activity for the young and especially the young at heart. Grandma Camp’s goal for the summer was to make memories that would last my teenaged twin grandsons into adulthood. I was determined that the heat would not put a damper on making memories.
