Miss Courtney Springer and Mr. Casey Jones, both of Fayetteville, Ark., have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.


The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Roger Springer and Mrs. Jami Springer of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sharon Woods Noggle, Mr. Merrill Noggle of Conway, the late Mr. Bill E. Woods, and Mr. Emmett Springer and Mrs. Virginia Springer of Conway.

She is a 2007 graduate of Conway High School, attended the University of Central Arkansas Honors College, and is a 2014 graduate of the UAMS College of Pharmacy.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. Bobby Jones Jr. and Mrs. Beverly Jones of Keo, Ark. He is the grandson of Mr. Bobby Jones Sr. and Mrs. Janith Jones of England, Ark., Mrs. Doretta Malone of Lonoke, Ark., and the late Mr. Jim Malone Jr.

He is a 2006 graduate of Arkansas Baptist High School, and a graduate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree and in 2013 with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering.

He is currently employed at Materials Testing of Arkansas in Springdale.

The wedding is set to take place at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 23, 2014, at Sassafras Springs Vineyard in Springdale with a reception to follow.
