Troillet-Moix engagement

Daniel Moix and Hannah Troillet

Hannah Troillet and Daniel Moix, both of Conway, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.


The bride-elect is the daughter of Matthew Troillet of Conway and Britt and Dawn Talley of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Leo and Judy Troillet of Conway and Sue and Everett Talley of Vilonia.

She is a 2011 graduate of St. Joseph High School, and is currently a junior marketing major at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She will be a prospective graduate candidate in May 2015.

She is a member of the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Chi Omega at UALR.

She is currently a marketing intern with Riverfest, Inc. in Little Rock.

The prospective groom is the son of James “Bo” and Vicki Thines Moix of Conway. He is the grandson of John and Dorothy Thines and Patty and Maurice Moix, all of Conway.

He is a 2007 graduate of St. Joseph High School and a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

He is currently employed as an outside sales representative for Fastenal in Conway.

The wedding is set to take place at 6:30 p.m. June 14, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.



Five-year report shows 101.6 million Americans participated in hunting, fishing and wildlife-associated activities

The U.S. Department of the Interior announced a new report by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that shows that 101.6 million Americans – 40 percent of the U.S. population 16 years old and older – participated in wildlife-related activities in 2016, such as hunting, fishing, and wildlife-watching. More detailed, state-by-state reports will be available in the near future, but the preliminary report has many interesting findings.
