Amanda Cherie Montgomery and Brett Nelson Taylor

Amanda Cherie Montgomery and Brett Nelson Taylor, both of Conway, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.


The bride-elect is the daughter of Kenneth Montgomery of Conway and Lyle and Sheila Rupert, also of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn Stansberry of Mojave, Calif., Coy and Karen Kindsfather of Fort Worth, Texas, Angelo and Barbara Rodriguez of Conway, the late Ed Montgomery of Little Rock, and the late Helen Marie Rupert of Fayetteville, Ark.

She is a 2001 graduate of Conway High School, and a 2012 Summa Cum Laude honors graduate of San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, Calif.

She is a registered clinical medical assistant at Conway Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic.

The prospective groom is the son of Rick and Kimberly Taylor of Conway. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Murphy R. Taylor of Fayetteville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William N. John Jr. of Conway.

He is a 2001 graduate of Conway High School.

He is a logistics dispatcher at Southwestern Energy.

The wedding is set to take place at 6 p.m. May 3, 2014, at Greene Chapel at Hendrix College.

The reception will be held at the Conway Country Club.
