Posted: February 26, 2014 - 9:25am

The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) will air “30 Days to a Younger Heart With Dr. Steven Masley” Monday, March 3, at 8:30 p.m. Masley will be in studio during this broadcast to further discuss his program and answer questions. Viewers may call 1-800-662-2386 with questions.

In this special, Masley reveals that it’s possible to make the heart up to 10 years younger, regardless of body composition, genetics or age. He shares three steps that have helped thousands of patients turn back the clock and significantly slow the onset of aging and disease.

Masley is a board-certified physician, nutritionist, longevity researcher and award-winning educator, as well as a highly acclaimed chef, who trained at the Four Seasons.

In “30 Days to a Younger Heart,” viewers will learn that high cholesterol is not the number one cause of cardiovascular disease. Metabolic syndrome, also known as pre-diabetes, is the leading cause of heart disease, and the doctor describes how to determine risk and why so many Americans suffer from it.

Masley also educates viewers about the dangers of invasive, often unnecessary, cardiovascular procedures. His three-step Heart Tune-Up program is a guide to lifestyle changes that significantly reduce the likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease.

Viewers will discover five new categories of heart-healing foods, learn how the amount of time an individual exercises may not be as important as once thought, and learn the five key nutrients many lack but that are truly necessary for a younger heart.

“30 Days to a Younger Heart With Dr. Steven Masley” repeats Saturday, March 8, at 10 a.m., and Sunday, March 16, at 10 a.m.
