CAMRC Train Open House

The Central Arkansas Model Railroad Club (CAMRC) in Conway will sponsor a Train Open House event with a Christmas theme from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the McGee Center, 3800 W. College Ave. in Conway. This event will be open to the public, and admission will be free. Donations will be gratefully accepted to keep the trains running.

The featured attraction will be a large (18x18 feet) Lionel-style train layout with many operating accessories, buildings and wireless control of trains and the whistle, bell and brakes.

Persons can bring their vintage pre-1970 Lionel, Marx or American Flyer trains to this event for a free appraisal of current market value or an assessment of operating condition.
