Miss Moore and Mr. Fotioo wed at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock

Miss Megan Moore of Conway and Mr. Alex Fotioo of Hot Springs were united in marriage at 3 p.m. on June 16, 2012, in a double-ring ceremony at St. James United Methodist Church, Little Rock, officiated by Cindy Shaw Henry of Little Rock.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Milisa Moore of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Vann and the late Billy Vann of Greenbrier, and James Moore and the late Loretta Moore of Camden, Ark.

The groom is the son of the late Ted Fotioo Jr. of Hot Springs and Mary Frances Blackard of Pensacola, Fla. He is the grandson of the late Fred and Dorothy Waters, and Shirley Fotioo and the late Ted Fotioo Sr.

The aisles were marked with coral carnation flower balls with alternating black iron candleholders. The pulpit area was adorned with two large candelabras, and a kneeling bench where the couple signed their new Bible.

Carol Majors served as organist during the ceremony.

The bride was escorted by her father, Jeff Moore, and wore a Vera Wang ivory strapless taffeta ball gown with a draped bodice, scooped neckline, and cathedral-length train. A crystal sash was worn around the waist. The bride also wore a chapel-length veil. Her bouquet consisted of coral roses with ivory ribbon.

Katie Scott of Conway served as maid of honor. She wore a Vera Wang black one-shoulder organza dress with hand-cut bias-flange skirt and black belt.

Bridemaids were Katrinka Shields of Vilonia, Natalie Cypert of Conway and Jessica Hazeslip of Cabot.

The bridesmaids also wore Vera Wang black one-shoulder organza dresses with hand-cut bias-flange skirts and black belts. The bridesmaids’ bouquets consisted of coral, peach, and hot pink roses adorned with coral and pink ribbon.

Cooper Teague of Conway served as ring bearer.

Olivia Wiedower of Conway served as flower girl and Sophie Eble of Little Rock served as Bible bearer. The flower girl and Bible bearer each wore floral wreaths in their hair made of coral and pink roses and ribbons.

Best man was Joshua Shelton of Mountain Home. Groomsmen were Zack Aslett and Colton Bond, both of Hot Springs, and Colby Curry of Fort Smith.

Ushers were Jackson Wiedower, Brandon Colaianni and T.J. Fenton.

Presiding at the bride’s book were Rachel Rose, Emily Rose and Maggie Rose, who are cousins of the bride.

The mother of the bride wore a coral, shimmery tiered pleated knee-length dress. It was shaped with feminine rosette and a V-neckline. It had ruched shoulder straps with peaked empire waist. The mother of the groom wore a purple, pleated scoop-neck dress adorned with rosettes around the neckline.

The reception was held at the Junior League of Little Rock.

The guest tables were covered in a black pintuck linen. Centerpieces were an arrangement of coral roses, gladiolus, and lilies atop of silver candelabras dripping with crystals and surrounded by sparkling votive candle holders.

The reception was catered by Catering Creations of Little Rock. Guests enjoyed fruit, vegetable, and cheese cascade, cheeseburger sliders and topping bar, honey barbecue glazed chicken skewers, baked spinach alfredo dip, and bruschetta bar. The bride’s cake was a three-tier strawberry and vanilla cake. It was covered in smooth fondant with scroll-work, and champagne ribbon along the bottom of each tier. It was topped with fresh coral and pink roses. The groom’s cake was a chocolate cake in the shape of a football, adorned with chocolate covered strawberries. Both cakes were from Cakes by Catie in Conway.

Brandon Peck served as disc jockey during the reception.

The couple left the reception in a horse-drawn carriage as guests released white balloons.

Mr. and Mrs. Fotioo honeymooned at the Grande St. Lucian in Castries, St. Lucia.

The couple is currently residing in Conway.
