Ashton Olson and Aaron Smith, both of Russellville, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dean and Christie Olson of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Joan Burch of Knoxville and Larry and Beverly Palmer of Conway. She is the great-granddaughter of Rosie Banks of Corning and the late Dewey and Jan Olson of Russellville.
She is a 2004 graduate of Morrilton High School and graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2008 with a B.S. in business, with an emphasis in marketing and management.
She is currently employed as a real estate agent for Moore and Co. Realtors in Russellville.
The prospective groom is the son of Scott and Theresa Smith of Armorel. He is the grandson of John and Edna Shadowens of Caraway, Ernest and Vera Griggs and the late Judy Griggs of Caraway.
He is a 2007 graduate of Greers Ferry High School and attended Arkansas State University at Heber Springs and Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.He is currently employed at Illustrated Sportswear in Conway.
The wedding is set to take place at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Pinecrest Camp at Ozone, Ark.
