Anderson-Hutchinson engagement

Ellen Anderson and Rick Hutchinson, both of Conway, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.


The bride-elect is the daughter of Rick and Leigh Anderson of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Joy Marble of Little Rock and Diane and the late Doug Anderson of Sherwood.

Ellen graduated from Conway High School in 2007. She attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2011, with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. While at the U of A she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. At UCA, she was on the Dean’s List.

Ellen is a second grade teacher at Northeast Christian Academy in Kingwood, Texas.

The prospective groom is the son of Randy and Sandi Hutchinson of Highland, Ark., and Emily Escalada of New York City.

He is the grandson of Ernest and the late Heidi Hutchinson of Gloversville, N.Y.

Rick graduated from Highland High School in 2005. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Central Baptist College in 2009.

He was an honor graduate in high school and college.

Rick is the Worship Pastor for Journey Church in Kingwood, Texas.

The wedding is set to take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Greater Little Rock New Life Church in Maumelle, with the reception following.

In Florida, with 1,350 miles of coastline, the most in the continental United States, just 42 percent of the 2.5 million homes in hazard zones, are covered by flood insurance, according to the Federal Emergency Management Association.
