Sgt. Randall Hutchinson of Conway, classified as a detached enlisted man of the United States Army and on duty with the Arkansas National Guard here, re-enlisted at Little Rock yesterday. He was re-assigned his present position.

(1987)

The home of Mavis Lindsey in Lakeview Acres was the setting Saturday afternoon for a miscellaneous shower honoring Lisa Michelle Hall, bride-elect of Marvin Joe Holt.

Sherry Holland and Melissa Fisher were co-hostesses.

The hostesses presented the honoree with a brass lamp and a brass and glass shelf.

Special guests attending were Joyce Hall, mother of the bride-elect; the prospective groom’s mother, Marcia Holt of Everton (Boone County); and his sister-in-law and niece, Beverly and Brittney Holt of Harrison.

The couple plan to exchange vows at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Pickles Gap Baptist Church. Friends and relatives are invited.

James A. Sullivan, a senior at Conway High School West, has qualified as a finalist in the 2002 National Achievement Scholarship Program.

The selection of more tham 700 Achievement Scholarship winners from the finalist group is in progress.

Recipients of $2,500 National Achievement Scholarships, corporate-sponsored awards and college-sponsored awards will be announced.
