Conway urologist to discuss treatment for enlarged prostate

Jeff Marotte, MD, a Conway Urologist, will give a free presentation on treatment options for prostate disorders during a men’s health seminar from 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, in the Conway Regional Auditorium.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia, a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland, affects about half of all men over the age of 60. The condition can be treated with medication, invasive surgery or a new minimally-invasive laser therapy. Called GreenLight™ Laser Therapy, the new treatment option involves use of laser energy to vaporize the enlarged tissue to treat urinary issues.

Dr. Marotte will discuss surgical and non-surgical options for prostate disorders. He has extensive experience in treating prostate issues in Conway and at other practice locations, including a six-year residency at Stanford University in California.

The presentation is free and light refreshments will be served. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so participants are asked to RSVP to 1-877-433-2873.
