Conway Native recognized for outstanding graduate work at Auburn Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery Alumni Association recently awarded Alycia Jeong, a native of Conway, a Graduate Study Merit Scholarship for her outstanding performance as a graduate student at the university.

She was also awarded the Ida Belle Young Graduate Merit Scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year.

Jeong earned a B.A. in communications from the University of Central Arkansas and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree. She serves as the Smart Start Coordinator with the nonprofit, Alabama Partnership for Children. She is married to Shin Jeong and has one son, Noah. She is the daughter of Tammy Walker of Kalispell, Montana and Chris Seefeld of Conway.

Funded by alumni memberships, the Graduate Study Merit Scholarships are awarded to full-time, high-performing students pursuing graduate degrees at the university.
