The Conway Police Department responded to a shooting at Chapel Ridge Apartments Friday afternoon.

The call came in around 2:30 p.m. LaTresha Woodruff, spokesman for the Conway Police Department, said the victim reported he had come to an apartment at the complex to buy some drugs, and in the process of the transaction, the people in the apartment started shooting at him.

The victim ran out of the apartment and across the drive to another apartment where he knocked on a door and no one answered. At the second door he knocked on, someone let him in and called 911, Woodruff said. The victim was shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, but he was being transferred to a Little Rock hospital for treatment, Woodruff said.

Police are now looking for a person of interest, 22-year-old Steven Banks, who may be driving a black Cadillac CTS, Woodruff said.

Hmm

"the victim reported he had come to an apartment at the complex to buy some drugs, and in the process of the transaction, the people in the apartment started shooting at him."

Whatever happened to customer service? Back in my day, shooting your customers was considered a bad business practice. You run the risk of losing their repeat business. The risk increases with the accuracy of your aim.

Clearly we need to ban drugs. Oh wait...

"Clearly we need to ban drugs. Oh wait..."

Nah, we need to make drugs as easy to purchase as guns...clearly!

Everyone should be required to carry a weapon and partake the drug of their choice.

God Bless American

OK, guns and drugs.. bad combo

However, if one more drug dealer/user meets his maker during a deal gone south maybe civilization is better off for it..?? Now, all we need to do is execute the idiot who shot him and we've reduced the numbers a bit more so the rest of civilization can breathe a bit more easily..
