Among the incidents recently reported by the Conway Police Department:
• Two-vehicle accident at South German Lane and Torreyson Street on Monday
The driver of a 1989 Chevrolet Blazer was facing west on Torreyson Street, attempting to turn south onto South German Lane when he failed to yield to the driver of a 2002 Buick Park Avenue, who was northbound on South German Lane.
Following the resulting collision, the driver of the Buick was unable to stop and ran into a porch at 1330 Robins Street.
Damage was estimated at $2,500 to the Chevrolet and $3,000 to the Buick. The driver of the Chevrolet was found at fault for failure to yield. All occupants of the Buick were taken to Conway Regional Medical Center.
• Property damage at 1629 South Blvd.
An employee at Sallie Cone Primary School told police that someone in a silver SUV hit the sign in front of the school. A police officer watched security video, identified the person and made contact with her. He informed her that Arkansas law requires anyone who has hit someone’s property to report it to the owner.
• Public intoxication at the 3400 block of Irby Drive
Police responded to a call about a domestic disturbance and talked to a woman who said her husband was lying on the ground outside the apartment complex where they live. Officers found the man rolling on the ground, yelling and cursing. According to the report, he had what appeared to be cooked steaks lying on the ground at his feet and appeared very disoriented. The man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
• Theft at 102 Oak St.
A Conway man reported his 50 cc Metropolitan scooter was stolen while he was working at Burger King. It was valued at $500.
• Theft at 1600 Washington Ave.
A Hendrix College student reported that, between 3 and 8 p.m. on May 15, someone cut the lock off his Diamond Back bicycle and stole it. The bicycle was valued at $399.
