Conway police responded Thursday morning to the Walgreens on Salem Road to an alarm call.
Officers arrived around 2:06 a.m. and observed a “large chunk” of a concrete rock on the sidewalk, and three small marks on the front door.
A store manager arrived on scene, and viewed surveillance footage, however, due to the camera being located inside the store, all that could be seen was headlights outside the store.
Damage to the door was estimated at $200.
This is at least the second attempted commercial burglary Conway police have investigated this week. Officers responded to an AT&T store in the 800 block of Amity Road around 5:32 a.m. Tuesday.
