Two attempted burglaries at South Salem Road apartment complex, police say

Conway police responded to two attempted residential burglaries Monday morning at an apartment complex in the 1700 block of South Salem Road.

Officers arrived on scene of The Greens at Nutters Chapel, a Lindsey Management complex, around 2:12 a.m. after receiving an alarm call. Police observed two broken windows of two adjoining apartments.

Police said a dresser and television were moved in one apartment, while entry was not gained into the other. Damage to each apartment was estimated at $300.

No items were reported stolen. Police were unable to obtain fingerprints from the scene.

The police reports did not state if the apartments were occupied by renters.
