Five Arkansas teens were asked to leave an apartment complex in south Conway after officers found the group lounging in a hot tub after hours.
Officers responded to The Greens at Nutters Chapel, in the 1700 block of South Salem Road, around 3:28 a.m. Saturday after receiving reports of people in the hot tub.
Upon arrival, group members told officers they hopped a fence to gain access to the tub, and were “just hanging out,” the police report states. None of the individuals lived at the apartment complex, but stated a friend did. No one in the group was able to provide the friend's apartment number.
Police advised the teens, ages 18 and 19, to leave and not return to the complex.
Around 11 p.m., officers were notified by apartment managers that damage was visible to a gate that leads to the hot tub. Damage to the gate was estimated at $25 in the police report.
According to AccuWeather, temperatures reached a high of 27 degrees on Saturday, and fell as low as 19 degrees.
