Staff told police the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office originally made contact the man who was said to be intoxicated and causing a disturbance.
The man continued to cause problems in the ambulance, staff said.
The man told police he wanted to be arrested, but later said he wanted talk to Counseling Associates. Police arrested the man and held him for Counseling Associates.
•Harassment, Henry Street.
A Conway woman says she was asked several times to perform sexual favors by a black male driving in her neighborhood.
Police made contact with the woman around 10:02 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Henry Street.
The woman said she was approached several times by the male who was said to be driving a two-door dark green Lexus with silver rims. The woman said she called police after seeing the vehicle park in a nearby lot.
Police located the vehicle in a parking lot, and made contact with a male who matched the description given by the woman. The man, identified as a 30-year-old Conway resident, confirmed to officers the vehicle belonged to him.
When advised of why officers were speaking with him, the man claimed to have been in his apartment with his girlfriend for the past 45 minutes.
The man admitted he stopped and talked with the female on his way to his apartment from his aunt’s home, however, the man said there was no mention of sexual favors.
Police noted the man continued to deny any wrongdoing.
“While speaking to him, his story continued to change every time he told it to me,” an officer said in the police report.
Police said a search was done to identify any possible warrants for the man’s arrest, however, none were found.
Officers advised the woman of the warrants process.
