Conway police say two men robbed the Amity Road Pharmacy on Thursday morning.
According to employees’ statements, two men entered the store, located at 500 Amity Road, attempting to fill a prescription from a doctor in Florida. Believing the prescription had been forged, the pharmacist refused to fill it, police said.
Employees say one of the two original men returned to the store a short time later, with another man, and demanded drugs.
The clerk told police a weapon was not displayed, however, the man was forceful, so employees complied with the demands.
Police say the men are believed to have left in a small, silver car with an unspecified amount of pills.
Officers arrived on scene around 11 a.m., but the suspects were no longer in the area.
A photo of one of the suspects shows a black male, wearing a white tank top and black shorts. The other suspect is described as a bald, black man in his late 30s, wearing a black shirt and pants.
