The former National Bank of Arkansas at the corner of Oak and Harkrider Streets received new signage over the weekend as Arvest Bank completed its acquisition of NBA.

Late Saturday night, crews worked to install the new ATM and Arvest signage at the corner of Oak and Harkrider Streets as part of the conversion of the National Bank of Arkansas to Arvest Bank, which was officially completed Monday.

Former NBA accounts and branches have now been converted to Arvest accounts and branches.

Additionally, former NBA customers who now have Arvest accounts can use all Arvest branches and ATMs.

“We are excited to start serving our newest Arvest customers and introduce them to our 33 central Arkansas locations and 7 to 7 banking hours.” said John Womack, chairman and CEO of Arvest Bank.

In early December, Arvest announced their acquisition of National Bank of Arkansas through NBA’s holding company, National Banking Corp.

The NBA at 3700 Dave Ward Dr. is also now operating as a full-service Arvest Bank branch.

Arvest Bank now operates more than 260 bank branches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas through a network of 16 locally managed banks, each with its own board and management team.

These banks serve customers in more than 120 communities with 12-hour weekday banking at most locations.

Arvest also provides a wide range of banking services, including loans, deposits, treasury management, credit cards, mortgage loans and mortgage servicing.
