The Conway Development Corporation (CDC) voted to add two local businessmen to their governing board at their annual business meeting. Scotty Bell and Bunny Adcock were elected to three and four year terms respectively. Bell and Adcock join eleven other voting members of the board.
Founded in 1959, the Conway Development Corporation is a non-profit organization created to promote the economic growth and development of the city of Conway and of Faulkner County. The organization works to “attract and secure the location of new business and to assist in every way possible the future growth and expansion of area business and industry.”
Bell is employed at Virco Manufacturing (NASDAQ: VIRC) as Vice President and General Manager-Conway Division. Adcock currently serves as Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Directors for Home BancShares, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOMB).
