Vilonia athletes sign for college intent



A breakfast, sponsored by the Vilonia Ministerial Alliance, was held recently in the Vilonia High School cafeteria with the class of 218 graduating seniors eating, talking and 12 signing college letters of intent to attend college and play sports. Parents, grandparents and coaches were on hand, also, for the event.

Those signing include: Mateo Johnson, Central Baptist College, soccer; Rachel Hinson, ASU/Jonesboro, softball; Jake Ayers, Seminole State, Oklahoma, baseball; A.J. Crook, Henderson, baseball; Jake Goodson, Seminole State, Oklahoma, baseball; Scott Weaver, Oklahoma Wesleyan, baseball;  Cassidy McNespey, Oklahoma Wesleyan, basketball; Jared Willis, Lyon College, football; Caitlyn Hill, University of the Ozarks, cross country/track; Cacy Simpson, Lyon College, softball; Kevin Perez, Central Baptist College, soccer; Micaela Wann, Central Baptist College, soccer.
