Utility work requires Oak Street overnight lane closure

Conway Corporation crews will be performing maintenance on underground utilities on Oak Street this week.

The work will require closing the center and inside lanes of Oak Street between Harkrider Street and Ingram Street. Left-hand turns will be restricted at some intersections.

The lane closures will begin at 9 p.m. Thursday and last until approximately 5 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5. Traffic will be controlled using cones and warning signs. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route during this time.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
