Sept. 5: Cabot at Conway: Two longtime rivals and 7A state powers open the season at John McConnell Stadium.

 

Sept. 5: LR Episcopal at Conway Christian: The game against one of 3A’s best teams last year could be an interesting gauge for CCS.

Sept 13: Bacone at Hendrix: First night football game in Warrior history.

Sept 27: Doubleheader, Birmingham-Southern at Hendrix and Nicholls State at UCA: One of the rare times to catch parts of both Faulkner County teams. But with 1 p.m. and 3 p.m starts, It will be hard to watch all of both. Conference opener for Bears.

Oct 3: Morrilton at Vilonia: Pivotal home test for the Eagles early in conference play.

Oct. 10: Barton at Mayflower: Possibly the biggest game in Mayflower this season.

Oct. 17: Alma at Conway: Airedales and Wampus play a conference game for the first time.

Oct 25: Northwestern State at UCA: Homecoming for the Bears.

Nov. 1: Centre at Hendrix: Warriors take on one of the Southern Athletic Association’s projected top teams.

Nov. 6: Vilonia at Greenbrier: County rivals Vilonia and Greenbrier go at it in a Thursday night game.

NOTABLE ON THE ROAD

Greenbrier opens against Beebe at War Memorial Stadium, Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Of major interest for UCA fans will be on Oct. 4, when the Bears travel to Nacogdoches to take on Stephen F. Austin, a team coached by former UCA coach Clint Conque.
