Enrollment in the Enola school reached 294 at the close of the third week, B.O. McClaren, superintendent, reported today. The school will close Aug. 25 for the period of the cotton picking season.

The family of Mr. and Mrs. J. Albert Hiegel held a reunion Thursday at their home on Ingram Street. It was the first time the family had been together in five years. The Hiegels have three daughters, Mrs. Dwight Jordan and Mrs. Richard Strack of Conway, and Mrs. Al Wrape of Little Rock; 22 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Beth Brazier.

Erin Balogh of Conway was one of 10 Junior Girl Scouts from the Ouachita Girl Scout Council to participate in the recent Junior Time Warp, in which the Scouts toured historic places in Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.

Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Jesse W. Grisham Post 2259, have donated $1,405 to the Arkansas Homefront Fund.

The funds have been donated to the Arkansas Homefront Fund in the name of Bravo Company, 489th Engineers.
