A Jersey cow owned by H.D. Baldridge on Bruce Street, today gave birth to her second set of twin calves in less than 11 months, Mr. Baldridge reported today. The calves born today were bulls. Twin calves born to the cow late last September were heifers. The cow is from the Arkansas State Teachers College herd.

Pvt. Lindal J. Robertson has completed an 11-week communications center specialist course at the Army Southeastern Signal School at Ft. Gordon, Ga. He entered the Army in February. Pvt. Robertson’s wife, Jean, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman E. Robertson, all live in Conway.

Kristee Garrett, a daughter of Frances Garrett of Conway and Carroll Garrett of Little Rock, recently attended Summer Scientific Seminar at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Miss Garrett will be a senior at Conway High School this year.

A 10-year-old student has submitted the winning idea for the Faulkner County Fair Parade.

Austin Hodges suggested “Celebrate Your Favorite Sport at the Faulkner County Fair Parade.” His idea was selected by the parade committee at its meeting on Wednesday.
