Canadian League workout Friday in LR

The Monsters Game Free Agents, a newly-formed professional farm system connected to the Canadian Football League, will have a pre-workout demonstration for propsects at 2 p.m. Friday at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. The league will consist of three teams, the Arkansas Backbreakers, the Memphis Blues Dawgs and the Mississippi KoolKats from DeSoto County.

“There are a lot of good college players who can’t make the NFL, but they also can’t play in Canada because they don’t know the Canadian game. Our purpose is to introduce them to the Canadian game to give them more opportunities,” said Rickey Jemison, director of league team development.
