Two Conway attorneys have been named to committees of the Arkansas Bar Association by Bruce T. Bullion of Little Rock, the new president.

Robert W. Henry was named to the American Law Institute Committee and George F. Hartje Jr. to the Preceptorship Committee.

Daniel Patrick Smith, son of Terry and Sandra Smith of Conway, has returned from a two-year mission in the Portugal Porto Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

At Mayflower School District’s graduation, 20 seniors were recognized for earning scholarships for post-secondary education.

The students are: Melissa Allman, Will Culberson, Darby Eckl, Megan Funderburg, Heather Garland, Jennifer Green, Naomi Halter, Blake Harrell, Hannah Heflin, Alisa Jeffrey, Tamara Meux, Matt Munson, William Nerdin, Cody Pafford, Ryan Phillips, Jared Raney, Christina Starr, Jamie Vermillion, Auralie Vogler and Holly Wells.
