Central College officials today announced the appointment of Miss Corrine Hilliard of Conway as assistant registrar and secretary to Dr. J.S. Rogers, president, and Miss Bernice Galloway, dean. Miss Hilliard will succeed Miss Daisy Bruce, who recently resigned.

For the past two years Miss Hilliard taught commercial work in the vocational high school at Clinton.

Kenneth R. Hall of Conway has reported for assignment at Texaco’s Port Arthur (Texas) plant. Young Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Hall of Conway, received a degree in civil engineering in June from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga.

Suzanne Wood, 10, a daughter of Rodger and Lee Anne Kline of Conway, will play a chorus girl in a musical adaptation of “Frogs,” a 2,000-year-old Greek comedy to be performed by the Arkansas Arts Center Summer Theatre Academy.

(2004)

The University of Central Arkansas has signed four players from University of Arkansas-Fort Smith to NCAA letters of intent to play baseball.

The four include Dallas Black of Greenwood, Ark., Aaron Moulton of Benton, Ark., Matt Mullikan originally of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Jake Goodwin originally of El Dorado, Ark.
