Homecoming and special singing to be held at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist

Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church will hold its Homecoming with special guest Southern Gospel group The Kinsmen on Sunday, July 13.

The Homecoming service will begin at 10:30 a.m., with a noon potluck lunch and the singing at 1:30 p.m. with The Kinsmen — Mark Little, lead singer; Gary Newton, baritone; Bill Hankins, tenor; and Gerald Williams, bass.

The church is located at 676 Highway 25 West (of Wooster) in Greenbrier.

Directions from Conway: From I-40 (near Exit 124) drive 5.6 miles on Highway 25 North past Beaverfork Lake and in the direction of the town of Wooster. The church is located on the right just off of Highway 25 North.

Homecoming Set at Naylor United Methodist

Naylor United Methodist Church will observe its annual Homecoming service on Sunday, July 13.

Services will begin at 11 a.m., with a potluck luncheon after the service. At 1:30 p.m. a singing will be observed with Lewis Bush as master of ceremonies.

The public is invited to worship and fellowship on this special day of celebration. The church is located on Highway 36 in Naylor.

University Church of Christ to host VBS

The University Church of Christ will hold its Vacation Bible School “Chosen” from 6:15-8:30 p.m. July 13-16 for ages 4 years old through 4th grade.

Antioch Baptist Church to hold VBS

Antioch Baptist Church will hold its Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. July 13-17. The church is located at 150 Amity Rd. For more information, call 329-5153.

Salem UMC VBS - Weird Animals

Salem United Methodist Church will be hosting it’s annual Vacation Bible School from 5:15-8:15 p.m. July 13-17. The theme this year is Weird Animals! Join them for Bible adventures, games, science experiments, and music.

The church is located at 1018 Salem Rd.

Jungle Safari at Calvary Missionary Baptist

Calvary Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting its Jungle Safari Vacation Bible School from 6:30-8:45 p.m. July 13-18 for grades kindergarten through 8th.

Woodland Heights Baptist Church holds VBS

Woodland Heights Baptist Church will hold its Vacation Bible School from 6:30-8 p.m. July 15-17, for preschool age children. The church is located at 4215 Prince St.

VBS at Vilonia Church of the Nazarene

Vilonia Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a Kids Crusade, Friday, July 17, from 6-7:30 p.m., and Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for children ages 5-11. The Rev. Everett Lybarger will be leading the Crusade. There will be Bible stories, Bible memorization, singing, crafts and a lot of fun. Lunch will be provided for those attending on Saturday. On Sunday there will be a closing program at the church at 10 a.m. The church is located at 1054 Main St.

Vacation Bible School at Wesley UMC

Vacation Bible School will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church from 5:30-8 p.m. July 18-20. The theme will be Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep with God! Children ages preschool through 12 years of age are invited to attend. A nursery will be provided. For more information, call the church office at 329-7629. The church is located at 2310 E. Oak St., across from Caldwell Country Store.
