What do you do when life becomes overwhelming? Who do you turn to when the cares of this world have weighed you down? How do you respond when this thing we call life “just happens?” No matter where we are in life, as believers and non believers, we all have times when life just happens. Let’s face it; things happen that we do not expect. There are times where unplanned situations arise, and we find ourselves not having the answers, not knowing what to do, or who to turn to.

When we become overwhelmed with life, it becomes hard to see pass any obstacles we may face in life, no matter how great or how small they are. What would have been an easy decision now seems to be a life or death situation due to the overload of problems that have mounted one over another. The weight we should have been able to carry, like a feather, is now a 2 ton object that is constantly being pulled with us. Trying to escape the heavy load and the pain we carry in our soul, we turn to various things; In which no way it can help us, but only adds to the pressure we are already under.

Psalms 61 tells us, “When my hearts are over whelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

What seemingly weighs us down is nothing but a light thing for God. He tells us to cast our cares on Him for He cares for us. God is strong enough to carry us and the burdens or weight we have. God wants the worry we give to the situation; so we can live a life of peace that surpasses our own understanding. When things are impossible for us, they are always possible for God. So when there is a feeling of being overwhelmed with life know that God will always carry you through.

Maybe God

will get the Log Cabin to straighten up your picture. On a more serious note, it was nice of you to write this little article to remind us we do not walk alone.
