A message today to Station Agent B.C. Benedict said the Missouri Pacific’s de luxe exhibit train was expected to arrive in Conway on schedule time at 6:10 this evening, to remain for one hour.
The train will be stopped in front of the passenger station, Mr. Benedict said.

Mrs. Mollie Nesbitt, who lived on Oak Street, is the winner of a Tappan electric range awarded in a recent flour contest. Bob Benish of Jonesboro, sales representative for Buhler Mills Inc., came here this week to notify Mrs. Nesbitt of her award. The stove will be shipped by the manufacturer. Contestants in the contest were asked to give a name to Dixie Lily Flour’s new self-rising ingredient. Clarence Day’s Store, where Mrs. Nesbitt trades, will receive a wrist watch from the flour manufacturer. Mrs. Nesbitt mentioned on her entry blank that the Day store is her favorite grocer.

Kyle Hensley, a graduate assistant at the University of Central last season, has been named assistant basketball coach at Ouachita Baptist University by Mike Reynolds, who will take over as head coach Sept. 1.
Hensley, a Clinton native, played basketball under coach Bill Vining Sr. for four years at OBU and was named an honorable mention All-Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference player and an NAIA scholar-athlete.

LouJane Wills, science teacher at Mayflower Middle School, received a $1,000 check from Jamie Bray, manager of Walmart on Harkrider Street, for student scholarships to attend Ocean Camp in Biloxi, Miss.
