Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Rogers have purchased the Will Martin lots on Clifton Street, adjoining their apartment house, and are having two modern six-room residences built on them. Simon Dean has the contract for the work.

The Hayden Kindergarten, whose instructor is Mrs. Jennie Hayden, Thursday completed it 1963-64 session. Graduation exercises were held at the school. The group included Jeffrey Thomas, David Bain, Tommy Gray, James McDonald, Johnny Harp, Michael Quattlebaum, Dennis Clements, Carol Holt, Diane Hoggard, Lou Ann Nicholson, Karen Ledbetter, Mark Ratliff, Pamela Conelley, Denita Lackey, Jeanne Loveless and Carol Habcock.

Steven Duke of Conway purchased a house Saturday built by students of the Conway Area Careers Center for $21,600.
James F. “Fay” Pew, director of the center, said about 12 people attended the auction held at the center. The frame house must be moved from the construction site by the buyer.
Pew said Duke plans to move the house to Middle Road east of Conway.
The students have built a house each year for the past 11 years. The money raised goes back into a fund to build the next house.

Kyle Cotton an all-state baseball player from South Side High School in Bee Branch, has signed to play baseball with Central Baptist College. Cotton also made the Class AA All-State tournament team as well as being all-conference. Cotton has already received a Dean’s Scholarship to CBC. Cotton is a son of Jimmy and Stephanie Cotton of Bee Branch.
