Athletic signings at Vilonia

VILONIA — Five Vilonia High School athletes have signed athletic letters of intent at Arkansas colleges.

Making their college commitments were: Audrey Moran, basketball, Central Baptist College; Sarah Montgomery, softball, CBC; Mackenzie Hawks, track, Harding University; Leah Thomason, softball, CBC; and Mackenzie Morris, basketball, CBC.

The letters were signed at a senior breakfast sponsored by the Vilonia Ministerial Alliance. Morris was absent due to a funeral.

Montgomery plans to enter the field of speech pathology. Thomason will gear her college toward the athletic training field. Moran plans to go into elementary education. Morris plans to enter the field of occupational therapy.
