Seven highway signs, advertising the scenic beauty of Highway No. 64, have been placed on the road between Conway and Russellville, President Ted Hiegel of the Chamber of Commerce said today. The signs were constructed by NYA boys at the Arkansas State Teachers College.

(1964)

Kevin B. Ferrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Ferrell, has been selected as an additional delegate from Faulkner County to attend Boys State next month.

Young Ferrell is a junior at St. Joseph High School. Ferrell is the 13th delegate to be selected from this county to attend Boys State.

Truman Riffle of Conway caught this 40-pound flathead catfish at Lake Conway Thursday morning. Riffle caught the fish on a trotline using dog food for bait.

The Conway Lil Sugar Bears won first place in the Vilonia Spring Open, a fast-pitch softball tournament. Team members are Julie Sherill, Jordan Berry, Jenny Beth Davis, Madi Throneberry, Lesler Roberts, Kristen Shock, Lauren Rivers, Ashley Cyr, Natalye Chudy, Mallory Halter, Brittany Braden, and coaches Chris Throneberry, Shane Lamb and Cendey Roberts.
