Conway Running Club 2nd, 3rd among Toad Suck teams

The Conway Running Club placed second among women’s teams and third among the men at the Toad Suck 10K last weekend.

 

Jessica Sanders led the women’s team to a second- place team finish with a fifth-place overall finish with a time of 44:34. That was three seconds ahead of Conway’s Amanda Potts, who was sixth overall.

Talyn Billins was 10th overall in 46:20, winning the 15-19 age group.

Also contributing to the team scoring was Carrie Satterfield (14th overall/47:54) and Susan Beverly (21st overall/ 49:39).

The CRC men’s contingent, which scored a third-place finish , was led by Lance Beckman, who traversed the 6.2 miles in 35:28 and finished third overall.

Karl Lenser was seventh overall and first in the 55-59 age group with a 36:45. Other contributors to the team were Will Henry (16th overall/ 39:11 and Alan Stone (19th overall/ 39:30)
