George Simon, operating two grocery stores in Conway, has purchased the largest shipment of Kraft cheese and salad dressings ever delivered to Conway, according to Charles Berry, factory representative, who made the sale. In line with the “parade of progress” on nationally advertised brands, Mr. Simon is displaying 50 varieties of Kraft merchandise in his stores.

Homecoming is to be observed Sunday at the Liberty Church of the Nazarene, the Rev. Dean Clements, pastor, said today. Community singing is planned in the afternoon.

Dinner on the ground will be served at noon.

Steven E. Kelley of Conway and Gerald E. Martin of Mineral Springs have been promoted to the rank of private first class in Troop E., 151st Cavalry, of the National Guard in Conway.

The announcement was made by Capt. Joey D. Brannon, troop commander.

Theodore Jones Elementary School kindergarten students recently visited Pizza Inn on Oak Street. The students were shown the oversized mixers, ovens, refrigerator, and how the dough is made.

Two students who got to make pizzas were Daniel Hernandez and Cody Patterson.
