Mayflower student wins title of Rodeo of the Mid-South Princess

Southaven, Miss. — Arkansas cowgirl Kayley Kennemer recently won the title of Rodeo of the Mid-South Princess. She is the 9-year-old daughter of Jacob and Brandy Kennemer of Sherwood, Ark. She is a fourth grader at Mayflower Elementary School.

Rodeo of the Mid-South is an annual professional rodeo, sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. The two performances were held this year on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, at the Landers Center in Southaven, Miss.

Contestants were judged equally in the categories of personality, appearance and horsemanship by a panel of qualified judges.
