Advent Lutheran Church and the UCA Circle K Club are sponsoring the 19th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Potato-Fest, which will be held on Saturday, March 15, at Advent Lutheran Church, 900 Farris Rd. in Conway. The purpose of the event is to celebrate Irish Heritage and raise money for Bethlehem House, a transition shelter for the homeless in Faulkner County.
There will be a potato-bar dinner with all the trimmings from 6-7 p.m., followed by Celtic entertainment provided by Jeff Quinn, and The Boomers beginning around 7. Donations are requested, which will be matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The goal is to raise at least $2,000 for Bethlehem House. The public is invited. Individuals who cannot attend but wish to donate can send a check — made payable to Advent Lutheran Church — to c/o Gary Roberts, 53 Caddo Drive, Conway, AR 72032. Please indicate “for Bethlehem House” in the memo line. One hundred percent of donations will go to Bethlehem House. For information contact Gary Roberts at 450-3416 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or go to the Potato-Fest Facebook page.
