Candidate filing office open Monday despite weather

There will be a partial closing of county offices tomorrow (Monday), but because Monday is the last day for candidates to file for office, the county clerk's office will be open for business.

Faulkner County Clerk Melinda Reynolds has made arrangements to be at work on Monday, regardless of sleet, snow or ice — but only until noon, the filing deadline.

All other county offices will be closed, according to County Judge Allen Dodson.
