The interior of the First Presbyterian Church here is being repainted and redecorated. The work is expected to be completed this week, the Rev. Fred I. Cairns, pastor, said.

The adult choir of First Baptist Church directed by Mrs. Bob Banister, participated in a statewide choir festival last night at Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock. The group traveled by church bus.

Fifteen choirs attended and more than 300 voices combined for the festival program. Each choir sang one number for adjudication.

Steve Dennis of Vilonia, a volunteer assisting the Faulkner County Girls Scouts, unloaded the last of the 42,180 ordered boxes of Girl Scout cookies delivered yesterday at the Selby-Ross National Guard Armory in the Conway Industrial Park. Greenbrier Brownie Troop No. 002 took top sales honors with 3,324 boxes of cookies ordered. Delivery of the cookies is expected to begin this week.

Members of the St. Joseph senior boys basketball team posed with the 2AA-West Conference Championship trophy they were presented after winning the 2AA-West District Tournament. The Bulldogs were presented the trophy for winning the regular season round-robin conference championship. The presentation for the conference trophy came before their presentation for winning the district tournament at Rose Bud.
