St. Joseph boys win conference title

St. Joseph’s boys won their 20th game and clinched the conference championship Monday night with a 58-47 victory over Bigelow at the St. Joseph Family Activity Center.

 

Landon Enderlin led the Bulldogs (20-6, 9-1) with 19 points, three assists and two steals. Drake Cooper added 13 points and Nash Nichols, 12 and seven rebounds. Dylan Schrekenhofer had six points and five rebounds and Taylor Schrekenhofer, four points, three assists and two steals. Williams Fields had four points, two assists and three steals.

“I was proud of their effort and how they competed on both ends of the court,” said coach Brent Bruich.

The Lady Bulldogs (22-3, 10-0) won easily, 62-22.

Anna Mayor led with 14 points. Madeline Moix had 11 points and four steals while Monica Davanzo had 10 points and seven rebounds. Meagan Briggler added nine points and Maddy Shamburger had eight points. Caroline Dail had 10 rebounds and five assists.

In junior girls, St. Joseph won 42-22. Amber Briggler had 22 points and Joanie Elsinger 11.
