A tornado that swept through the northern part of Faulkner County last night did several thousand dollars worth of damage to property. Reports reaching Conway today indicated damage was done to houses, barns, outbuildings and other property from Shady Grove on the western border of the county northeastward to New Home and Quitman. Principal damage, however, was caused in the Republican and Guy communities.

No one was injured. Several families, however, went to storm cellars during the night.
