County Treasurer Neel Webb today received a warrant for $2,000 from the state equalizing fund to be credited to Greenbrier School district No. 47.

Richard Clark has been selected member of the month by the Conway High School chapter of Future Farmers of America. He is the 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Doyne Clark. A third year member of FFA, he has gardening as his supervised farming project. He plans to attend Arkansas State Teachers College, where he will major in electronics.

Marine Pvt. Jeremy M. Ritchie, son of Ramona L. Ritchie of Conway, has completed the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer Course.

He studied during a six-week course at Camp Lejeune, N.C. He is a 1988 graduate of Conway High School.

George Covington, Ray Kordsmeier and Scot Morrissey of Conway were recently elected board members for the Conway Committee of 100.
