HOMES: 18 Wilson Road, Greenbrier

If you love nature and natural surroundings, you will definitely fall in love with this truly unique custom log siding home in the Cedar Glenn neighborhood of Greenbrier.

Offered for sale through Rowlett Realty of Greenbrier, this two-story home has 1,680 square feet in an open floor plan. A pop of color on the red door and roof perfectly complement the log exterior and rock accents. The home is set back from the road for added privacy. A covered porch on the front and an elevated deck on the back provide space for enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.

Three bedrooms and two baths are featured in the home, with the master suite downstairs near the main living areas. The inside of this home is clean as a pin, with immaculate floors featuring both carpet and tile. Neutral wall colors make the space suitable for all decorating styles.

An open design will encourage the family to gather in the living room and the kitchen. The stairs to the upper floor is also off this space. The main living room has a gas log fireplace and a large window overlooking the covered front porch.

The kitchen includes an eat-in area and has tiled floors for easy cleanup. Stained wood cabinets provide plenty of storage space, and the countertops are solid and easy to maintain. Also included are a built-in stove, microwave and dishwasher. One favorite feature in the kitchen is the window over the sink, which once again provides nice views of the acreage outside, even if you have to be inside working!

The master bedroom provides a quiet oasis for the head of the family. The room is carpeted, spacious and features a huge walk-in closet. The upstairs rooms have tall, peaked ceilings and can be bedrooms, guest rooms or even a home gym.

Other features include:

• A huge separate laundry room that is big enough for a freezer and a home office.

• Central heat an air.

• Two-car carport.

• Level acreage with some clear and some shaded areas.

• The home is east of Greenbrier off Highway 225, but still close enough to town to be convenient to shopping, restaurants and schools.

Northern Faulkner County is a fast-growing community, yet it still maintains a feeling of nature in its development.

This home, priced at $225,000, is perfect for a family seeking to be outside town yet close to amenities. For more information or to arrange for a private viewing, please contact Rhonda Rowlett of Rowlett Realty in Greenbrier at 501-450-2835,
