The men of the Conway Country Club entertained the women members and other guests with a chicken supper and bridge party at the club last night. The salon was beautifully decorated in holiday colors for the occasion. Prizes went to Mrs. H.L. McAlister and McHarley Smith, members, and Mrs. Kenneth Spatz, of Tyler, texas, and Cecil H. Dickerson Jr. of Little Rock, guests.

Mrs. J.L. Dunn celebrated her 90th birthday Saturday. Her, age, however, is much less than the number of descendants she has.
Mrs. Dunn has 134 descendants including seven children, 32 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Dunn was born Dec. 28, 1873, at Nashville, Ark. She grew up in the Pickles Gap community north of Conway and moved to near Conway in 1899, when she married the late Mr. Dunn. Her husband’s death occurred in 1931.

Paula Frizzell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Frizzell of Conway, has been awarded an academic scholarship for 1988-89 at Northwood Institute of Texas and has been named to the dean’s list for the fall term.
A graduate of Conway High School, Miss Frizzell is a freshman majoring in fashion marketing and merchandising.

Milton and Claudia Davis are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend with a family gathering in Memphis. The weekend will include dinner, theater and worship today as a family.
The Davises were married Dec. 27, 1953, in Henderson Methodist Church in Little Rock by the Rev. Herston Holland.
They are the parents of four children and the grandparents of six grandchildren.
