Vilonia Middle School and Coach Jacob Roper presented a donation on Friday, Dec. 13, for $1,000 for Conway Regional Health System’s Fabulous You Boutique. The proceeds were from a powder puff game held in November. Trudy Hightower, Outreach Coordinator at the Women’s Center at Conway Regional, accepted the donation in support of women battling breast cancer.

The money will go to The Fabulous You Boutique which provides women with wigs, turbans, and hats to complete their ensemble. This free program is funded through the Conway Regional Health Foundation.

The boutique complements The Look Good Feel Better program at Conway Regional. Look Good Feel Better offers the assistance of cosmetologists to help cancer patients with makeup application, dry skin and discolored nails to boost self-esteem, making them look beautiful and feel better about themselves.

Look Good Feel Better is a free, non-medical, product-neutral program offered by Conway Regional in partnership with the American Cancer Society, The Cosmetology Association, and The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association.

For questions about the program, contact Trudy Hightower at 501-513-5230.
