Miss Margaret Dunaway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Dunaway of Conway, who teaches in the high school in Hot Springs, has been elected to teach French in Lindenwood College, an important school for girls near St. Louis, and she expects to leave Oct. 15 for that place. Miss Dunaway spent the weekend with her parents here and returned to Hot Springs to complete here work in the school there this week. Miss Dunaway is a graduate of Central and Hendrix colleges.

Five Conway girls are members of the T-Steppers, the precision drill team at Arkansas State Teachers College. They are Jamye Moffet, Pat Hendrickson, Margo Dunaway, Carolyn Hazel and Sarah Grigsby.

David Rawe was recently elected president of the Vilonia chapter of the Future Farmers of America. Other officer are John Evans, vice president; Shawn Pratt, secretary; Katy Kelly, treasurer; Daron Williams, reporter; Darren George, sentinel; and Justin Lee, junior adviser. Harold Dean McCain is chapter adviser.

Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, south of Wooster on Highway 25, will celebrate its new building with a dedication service at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Former pastors and local dignitaries have been invited for the occasion.
There have been several buildings, but the church has stood on the same piece of ground, purchased from M.H. and Mary Alsop in 1872.
