Mayflower quarterback Adam Dycus carved up Perryville on Friday night at Perryville.
Dycus completed 20 of 26 passes for 593 yards and the eight TDs in the Eagles’ 61-12 romp over the Mustangs in the 2-3A opener for both teams.
Drew Duncan caught six passes for 159 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles (3-1, 1-0). Madison Chambliss was on the receiving end of five of those balls for 161 yards and four touchdowns. Josh Woodham had six catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Austin Woodham had one catch for 79 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 93 yard on 12 carries.
Duncan completed a pass for 17 yards. Justin Bailey rushed for 66 yards on five carries and had one catch for 41 yards.
The Eagles had 703 yards of total offense.
Josiah Smith kicked four field goals — 37, 32, 39 and 19 yards — in Conway Christian’s 26-12 victory Friday night over Poyen at Poyen.
The conference opener was the first win of the season for the Eagles (1-3, 1-0).
