Gospel Singing

Live Gospel Singing, 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at H & W’s Country Store, located 8 1/2 miles East of Greenbrier on Highway 225 E. Featuring Houseband with special guest Robin Covington. Free event open to the public.

The Third annual Greers Ferry Quartet Convention

The Third annual Greers Ferry Quartet Convention will be held Friday, Sept. 27, and Saturday, Sept. 28, at Quitman First Baptist Church, 5899 Heber Springs Rd.

Groups will be NHim, Broken Vessels, Heaven’s Echoes, Weston and Christy Hinson, Ransomed, and Made By Mercy. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. both nights. No admission, a love offering will be received and concessions available.

Homecoming at Christ Temple Holiness Church

The Christ Temple Holiness Church, located at 868 Willow St., will host a homecoming and mortgage burning beginning Saturday, Sept. 28, with a reunion choir practice starting at 10 a.m. A picnic and outside activities will follow at 1 p.m. In the event of rain, activities will be held inside the multi-purpose room. Sunday school will begin the morning services starting at 9 a.m. Worship services will begin at 10:05 a.m. Elder Rodney Magee (former pastor) of Houston, Texas, will deliver the morning message. Elder Willie L. Owens, Jr. is Pastor of Christ Temple.

Fifth Sunday Fellowship and Singing

Fifth Sunday Fellowship and Singing at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Happy Hollow Baptist Church.

There will be a congregation and special singing. Anyone who plays an instrument or sings with a tape or CD are welcome. Everybody sings. Food will follow after church services.

Come join a diverse group of citizens at the Morrilton Chamber of Commerce on 115 E. Broadway.

A dialogue among faiths, seeking to live and learn with mutual respect, compassion and integrity toward one another and the world and exploring ways to live in service to others.

Refreshments at 5:30 p.m. and Program at 6.
